Another frame with the Hares, only a few are visible currently and are still very skittish. Probably f/8 maybe a tad more, albeit that it still wouldn't bring both into focus, but perhaps the difference between the two might be less??? Certainly shooting 'mirrorless with the 1DX MK3 is a huge asset, but using the LCD screen does take a bit of getting used too, but you have ALL of the frame to act as a FP is brilliant.

Thanks to those who viewed or commented on the previous posting.

Nice low angle Steve. Wish the HA was better on the one in focus. Yes to more DOF.

Hi Steve ... very nice to see two of them in one frame . Were they going to fight ??

I am ok with the position of both , a bit less overlapping would have been better . Superb fine details and the tonality is great as expected , I personally would drop the oranges slightly .

No aperture would safe the DOF .... I quite like the difference in detail/sharpness as it does give more depth to the frame.

    Nice one Steve

No Andreas, more intent on eating. Agree on the overlap and yes, no aperture would offer the 'ideal' DoF but I just find the transition a tad much, but then it's just a personal POV.

Just on a side note, the 'mirrorless' aspect of the MK3 is just so cool, but you do rack up way more frames than you need, can't believe the current count, but the MK3 has been busy... you ned to bring yours home. No trace of locking up, or oil spots. Trivial, but when you use it, have the FP highlighted on the JPEG, slight mismatch to my eye? With this enforced lockdown, can't believe I'm photographing squirrels!!!!

Like the low angle. The strip of vegetation across the bottom of the frame gives some nice depth to the image. Man those ears are huge at least compared to the cottontails i am use to seeing.

    Hello Steve,

Very cute pose and expression from the two Hares, those flattened ears makes one think there's conflict, LOL. The juxtaposition creates an interesting effect.

Love the rich colours and detail, well framed, beautifully processed. I really enjoyed viewing and smiling from ear to ear , many thanks for sharing!

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
