This is an older file, recently processed.... I, like many, are going through files and cleaning up. Its getting to the stage where I think I'll have to start taking Gull shots from the balcony again...Isolation is starting to get to me now, and the Eiders are leaving the harbour to go and nest, so they will all be off soon.

Nice pose and attractive frame, Will.
A slight look up would have really made this one, but nice as is.

Really dig dorsal flight frames like this. Nice pose and a killer background. Nice and sharp as well.

Very nice, with the slightly marbled BG adding some interest. Neat to see that freshly grown central tail feather compared to the other worn ones!

You are nailing these kite images.
I love the BG colors in this image.
Nice and sharp and a very unique wing position.
Did you do NR on the bird? The brown wing feathers look abnormally smooth,

I've got some Red Kite frames that I'm really happy with, and I have to be honest Will, I'd swap them all for this one!. I love the detail, the sharpness in the eye, the light, the dorsal view and the BG is just a killer and really rare for the way we normally get to shoot these beauties

Outstanding capture, William. Beautiful wings and fanned tail positions, with great head angle. Excellent softness in the colors of the background as well.
