    From Barnegat jetty in February. Lower POV was not an option for me.

    D500, Sigma 150-600C @ 600mm, Auto ISO 1100, 1/4000s @ f/6.3 manual.

    Bill:

    This is a lovely duck, so elegant. The waves add a dramatic touch, nice head turn, and that long tail of course.

    I might try a very fine treatment of detail extractor to some of the whites. They aren't blown, but a bit of texture would be nice if possible.

    Nice view of this gorgeous duck. Everytime i have gone there these guys never come close. Maybe someday.

    Here's a repost with a bit of detail extractor on the whites. They were on the edge of being blown, with not much detail to be had.
