This is another one from my trip to Cairngorm...I managed to capture this bird further up the mountain from where they are normally seen. Just my luck, it was sunny when I first set out, a strong wind started, a very dark cloud appeared and I was losing light fast.

Nice view of this snow bunting. With some snow even. The birds left eye our right looks very odd to me.

Love that staring pose and the grasses in this frame. Only wish that FG snow was a little more in focus or more of a focus fall off from top to bottom. I like it as is though. TFS
