Like the majority of people I know, I'm going through old files for a re-visit until we're through with this virus. One from Cape Coral in 2015, set up for flight so maybe the techs are not ideal

    I really like this Mike.
The BG is great and the OOF grasses frame the owl nicely without being too intrusive.
    F5 worked re: the BG.
I like the raised head feathers and I really like the little feather that dips down over the birds' left eye.
It looks like you had a cloudy day so exposure if fine for me.
It is kind of fun the way he is sitting in the burrow- like an owl in a teacup!

Great look, great pose, and the green vegetation is a big plus.

Love the soft light, raised head feathers, compositional diagonal with grass and most of all those eyes. TFS

Hi Mike ... gonna love this one !!
Great eyes , lovely tones and overall color . Might back off the sharpening a fraction as the hairdo looks a bit rough , likewise the area around the eyes .... just a tiny bit smoother would be better IMHO .
Great that you could get low ... for him .

The overcast light brang out the detail very evenly. Framing is right on. Like the pose on the owl as well. Detail looks very nice.

This is fun - his head looks like its been shrunken against the larger body with fluffed wings. Love the eye contact and surroundings as well. I might warm the image a touch, its very cold as presented.

Fun closeup, very nice. I might have got rid off the vegetation on the right.
