Hi John, I like the framing and light on this one, but you are masking and loosing so much in the darks on this one. I'm also a bit unclear on the techs, why f/4????
I'm not saying the colour is right on the RP, but it does illustrate what you initially captured, but lost in PP. If you have the time, then I would resist the raw, there is so much you can retrieve.

Lovely warm light , just the subject is a bit dark . Double process can be your friend in cases like this .

Looks better John, but your call on aperture, don't create a straight jacket for yourself.
I shoot wide open 99% of the time so f4 would be what I would use.
Stopping down in tele lens is usually worthless except it adds noise.
I am surprised the bokeh is not better at f4, my only critique.
The turkey looks good. Your repost is nice, the others too warm.
