    Taken in the back garden using tripod head, high speed electronic shutter 60 frames/sec, fixed focus.

    Lens focal length : 130 mm
    Focal length in 35 mm film : 260.0mm

    Metering mode : Pattern
    Shutter speed : 1/2500 sec
    ISO : 1000
    Exposure time : 1/2500 sec
    F number : F8
    Flash : OFF

    ACR+ PSCC

    I kept the frame loose because I wanted to show the bird in it's natural surroundings. The background is a small copse at the far side of the field at the end of the garden.

    Love it Jon, and well done on capturing this guy in flight. Really like the dangling feet. I feel it is a wee bit dark...I did a curves adjustment, and masked the white on the head...

    Hi Jon, nice image. I love the position of the bird, nice wing spread, feet curled against the chest. The exposure looks good on my screen. Thank you for sharing.
