When I saw the thumbnail, I was sure I would like the way the bird is framed and cradled by the branch. In the larger version though, I think the angle of the branch spoils it because of the large oof piece forward of the subject. The pose and head turn are less than optimal.

The BG is nice. Exposure looks pretty good, but the focus seems to be forward of the eye somewhere on the breast or part of the horizontal section of the limb.

Very nice species that I hope to photograph next spring/summer. We have some here but never had the opportunity to find some at close enough range like you have here. Very nice background! The top branch is unfortunately much too overpowering.

Nice species capture but I'll echo the nit about the top branch.

Great find and BG. I find the perch a bit overpowering.

Great BG along with a sweet subject. A different angle along with a look your way would put this over the top.
