I love the image design. Great composition - I like the way the main subject, BG bird, and tree line up diagonally. The foreground grasses are excellent. I do find the overall exposure quite bright, and the WB too cool. lastly, I would remove the broken branch on the oof tree. This is a highly appealing scene, nicely done overall.
Removed the branch it was weed .and I think it looks better. I also warmed up the color balance . I do like it like this but don't think this frame was originally this warm . I have some a half hour later in the morning that look like this and also agree with the exposure.I was torn between removing the weeds originally.
Thanks for the suggestions Daniel.
The comp works and I like the second bird in the BKG, adds like a shadow, but I would loose the shrub on the far LHS. Overall the image lacks detail/clarity and some tonal depth to give the image substance.
I like the composition but I would tame those highlights, I like your idea but I have a feeling that this image could look magical with some control over those tones.
Really like the setting on this one. Nice view of that front bird. The bird in the background balances the frame well. The repost is much better in terms of the color.
This one I'll like the most (first one). The shrub on the left is a bit disturbing, but hey....... it's nature. Normally I don't like to remove these "unwanted parts", but in this case it would make the image so much stronger. The warm colour balance of the second image is to much. It looks not natural. Maybe the first one is not representing the correct light situation, but the effect is very strong.
