    I have been after this little guy for the past three mornings, here he was singing out loud, about an hour after sunrise, I managed to grab a few images before he flew into denser tree cover.

    Clean and simple Jon and I like the fact the subject is side on with an open beak. The lichen adds a splash of colour. nice detail in the soft plumage, congrats on nailing this one Jon.

    Love the name. A sweet frame of this little bird. The lichen on the perch is a nice touch. Background is right on.

    I really like the light.
    Since I have no qualms about removing things,
    I would erase all the oof stem, crop a bit tighter
    and this is perfect!

    nice calling pose, agree with getting rid of oof branches and maybe sharpening the bird a tad more, moss on the perch is a nice touch
