From Little Vumbura, Botswana in 2018. We were shooting out of the truck, and I was trying to get a shot of him flying away from his nest, thus I left a lot of room at the bottom. I wish I had just a sliver more on top. It was tough to time his takeoff, and when he did takeoff he went in a flash, so I got a lot of tail-feather shots. I did manage one flight shot, but given this month's theme I thought I post this one.

Neat bird with a neat nest. Like the framing. The flight frame is alright. Im sure it's very hard to get these in flight. Nice the bird was in the shade.

I really like the composition of the first one Bill. A cute bird...you did well to get the in flight shot too! TFS

Like the composition. Nice contrast of the bird to the background..
