Hi all. Got a bit lucky this morning with this Osprey flying towards me with a fish in overcast conditions. Great to be able to still go to one of my favourite locations with nobody around during this tough time. Stay safe everyone.

I love the full on face of this beauty, the soft light, the pose and all three eyes. Glad to hear you can still get out safely. TFS

Thank you David. This is the best Osprey photo i've ever taken, in terms of pose and sharpness, so I'm pretty happy with it. I have others from the shoot, yet to edit...all in all a successful morning out. Stay safe.

A very nice shot indeed, my only suggestion would be to lift the shadows a tiny smidgen.... couldn't as for better focus - well done.

Very nice. Like the head on angle here. The view of that fish is another plus. Nice and sharp.

Hi Paul, nice flight shot. The stare is great, fish positioned well so the head shows, good wing position. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you all for the kind feedback...much appreciated.
Jonathan: I agree re the shadows, but I did have to use some noise reduction as the bird was a little underexposed. I'm still having issues regarding exposure on Ospreys...I aim to get the exposure right without clipping the highlights. but I haven't quite nailed it yet. I'm wondering whether spot metering may have been better against the bland overcast sky?
