    Another image of the adult kite. the red tones are from low sun below the clouds and right above the ocean. If you look closely you can see the little unfortunate mouse's tail tucked in between the talons

    I mean what can you say...

    Lovely image with that sweet light. Great flight pose heading towards you and with that eye contact. Nice colors in the background and good composition.
    Maybe lift the shadow under the far wing just a tiny bit?

    Thanks Ivan, white-tailed kites primaries are black in the underside, there is no detail there
