    Default Harrier in last light

This is a frame of the mature female harrier, taken at the last light just before sunset. BG is distant hills. One advantage of shooting on the coast is that you can get the sun to illuminate the bird from below as it setting over the ocean unobstructed by hills or trees

    hope you like it

Well William ...if you say that , then it must be fine feather detail . Must be my cheap NEC 4k 32 inch Pro screen .... that is playing tricks with me .

Andreas, yes these fine nose/facial feathers are typical in Harriers. They are not OOF patches.

Andreas they are fine nasal feathers, very obvious to someone who has seen northern harriers before. I have the same monitor but I don't see noise either.
