What a good idea to take the image, I think most of us would not have thought about it but it does make for a both different and interesting image. I like the composition and the visible iris in the calf.

I like it. The title is great too. Nice framing and interesting to see the difference between the young and old coat.

Good to have you back and posting again Marc , missed your extraordinary shots here at wildlife forum.

I loved the idea and the execution is even better , loved the details and textures and the way the calf is standing out against the unusual bkg makes this image for me. Something to keep in mind next time when I am out on the field. , superbly done.

    TFS !

Hi Marc, I like the concept and the image a lot. The little one looks so small compared to the BG of the parent. Nice details and composition.

Hi Marc .. so sweet !!!
Like this a lot .. albeit I would have treated the image differently . I wish for a better separation between the youngster and mum ...
At least nicely seen and photographed !!!
Just missing some fine critical detail , specially around the snout , where they have fine hairs and they seem to be lost in the process or the DOF was just too small !!

    TFS Andreas
