Here is one sneeky gharial just cruising along, nostrils put to good use, I can't hep but feel those teeth are a bit of a give away though!

    Olympus : E-M1X
    Lens Model : M.300mm F4.0 + MC-14
Lens focal length : 420 mm
Focal length in 35 mm film : 841.0mm
    Metering mode : Pattern
    Shutter speed : 1/2500 sec
    Aperture : F6.3
    Exposure mode : Manual exposure
    ISO : 1000
    Exposure bias : +1
    ACR & PSCC

I am reviewing this image and comparing it to my jpeg in PSCC, it doesn't look right at all. The image here should be 1700px wide and the image presented is considerably bigger than the one on PSCC???? When I reduce the web page by 10% it looks about the same size as the one I prepared in PSCC!!

Hi Jon ... oh you got lucky with this species .
Processing looks good . Think it needs a slight levelling ... from my POV .

As an image it does not grab me though ... as the subject is somehow hidden due to its nature . Nothing you could have done about it .
But nice to see something different

    Good evening Jon,

Indeed a sneaky little fellow... or maybe it's a "she" Gharial?

Interesting behavioural image. Subject is well camouflaged... although you are right, those teeth are a giveaway Well... it depends on what the teeth look like, to other creatures:)

Good POV, nice techs, overall it looks good to me. This is well processed Jon, I would just like a bit more oomph, just a little bit - WDYT? Can you notice a slight difference?

    Warmest regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Gabriela yes I see the difference, did you add more vibrance and maybe clarity? Image looks a little warmer/more yellow.

I can see what you were going for here. I like the idea behind this. I want to see more of the gharial though. The repost looks better to me. You have alot of these frames. Were these all over? or just luck?

    Good morning Jon,

No vibrance and no clarity, just a cheeky curve adjustment on the Gharial and FG Decreased saturation on the BG just a tiny bit. I also want to see more Gharials, if you have

Hope you have a nice day!

Thnks for the feedback, I do have more Gabriela. John - luck?? No there were plenty of them but there was a skill in approaching them they are skittish.
Coming back to the size issue if you look at this image and roughly note the size on screen and look at the same image in photoshop, are they the same size? I checked the inspect mode and the image is indeed registered as 1700px but it is considerably larger than the one in PS whenboth viewed at 100%. The image in PS is much sharper and shows better detail
