Hi all .... well still not tired of experimenting !!!! Long live the ART

My new creativity seems somehow endless in the moment .... hope you do not become bored .
Again a new approach ... kept the detail finer and the overall appearance is less coarse and hefty , at least from my POV .
And i have used a tritone with two complementary colors , whereas all previous postings had a similar toning in terms of the used color .

    Canon EOS 1Dx II
    EF 200 - 400 IS L with TC engaged ( 560 mm )
    HH

    F 8 ; Iso 4000 ; 1/ 2500 sec ; man exp and auto iso : ETTR

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2020 ; slightly cropped for comp ; Tritone colouring and tonal adjustment

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous posting .

    Cheers Andreas

    Hello Andreas,
Not bored at all, and happy to see you posting and excited to experiment with something new Which isn't to say about me... you'll have to put up with some 'oldies' for now

Back to your image, I think you've managed to retain a lot more detail here, looks good, definitely not coarse this time. It's pretty cool, I am just intrigued about the colours - what made you choose those particular ones, what did you have in mind? Here's another version, not so 'cool' as yours, just me playing around

Have a great week-end Boetie, and let us see some more from you

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Hi Gabriela .... Thanks for your comment and RP .
I had only one reason for choosing that toning .. you might have missed that when looking at the image .

The lights received a somehow yellowish toning and the shadows received a somehow cool/ blueish tone . And yes i kept this one less dramatic in terms of tonal/ contrast ... that was my goal .
I could have taken a different color combination ... with ease .

Thanks for the work .... but the colour is too dense for my taste . Do not how you have done this .. and asking back why this strong reddish tone .

I will go on with different color/tone combo ... the other day .

    Have a great weekend

    Yours Boetie

I think Mr Detail ..... would cry buckets full of tears ... when he look at both versions . Luckily he is faaaaaar Off

    Morning Andreas,

Thank you for explanation! This above was just an exercise, and not a suggestion for you. I have never processed duotone/tritone/quadtone before so was just showing you I was making an effort - just playing around to see how it works

I think Mr. Detail is around and watching, he is far but near... and probably very amused

Have a super week-end too Boetie,

Just played with the default Duotone option in PSCC, to see how it worked. Don't really have the time to explore something new at the moment...Lots happening on my side, work wise and on the home plan as well

Im not sure on this one. I mean i like the pose and the setting. The bison is nice as well. Just not really a fan of these types of images. But i did like your bear so i don't know.
