    I captured this image at a Fire Bush in my backyard. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, image captured at 400mm
    1/3200 F/8 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 900 Auto 1 WB, camera supported by a monopod
    Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2020 and Neat Image for noise reduction
    Cropped from horizontal to vertical for composition and presentation

    Very nice frame of this hummer. Like the pose and those flowers. The crop works very well. The gradient in the background works well.

    Nice frame.
    I like the wing position and the flowers in RUC.
    I am not a big fan of the BG. The top of the BG is very bright so i wish the hummer had been solidly in the brown of the BG.

    I really like this. Pleasing comp, nice pose, great colors, and detail. I do wish the bird had been more against the darker BG. I love the clenched feet. TFS

    I love the vegetation!! Nice hummingbird too. BG so-so as pointed out. Even a fully white high-key would have worked well IMO.

    A very good natural light hummingbird effort! Detail is excellent throughout the frame, and I appreciate the look at the tiny feet. Background is so-so, but it's not a multiflash and background set-up like so many of
    the hummer flight shots we see.
