    Default White-throated Dipper

A shot of a Dipper from earlier today. Taken at a local set of streams where they stay every winter. We had a record warm winter here in Sweden though and only had one day of snow where I live in Stockholm. Today it was 6C+ even, spring is comming for sure.

Love the pose and mossy setting. Bird stands out great against the brown BG. I might be tempted to warm the frame a little and then tone down the green in the URC. I would love to photograph these birds. TFS, we've had a very mild winter here as well...

Hi Ivan, lovely image. No nits from me, cannot see how the image could be improved. Beautiful bird, that I am not familiar with nicely shown. Thank you for sharing.

That is a beautiful shot of the dipper Ivan. Your patience paid off, they are always bobbing about and just occasionally still. Colours and details look spot on.

Beautiful setting, great shooting angle, and detail. It may be an individual bird thing, but I'd expect the back of the bird to be a little darker - it appears more grey here than a dark brown? Not an easy bird to get right, the chest feathers seem especially keen to blow so you've done really well in that department

Like the setting here. The moss is on the perch is a plus. The background is spot on. Nice framing as well.

I like this one much better than the last one, I wish the OOF branch on the lower right weren't there...I see some noise on the plumage

Hi Ivan, I like the soft light here. You have captured a good angled pose, and overall this is well exposed. The lichen covered perch adds interest, and the smooth BG rounds the image off nicely.

Perfect depiction of this stream-side species. Flat light let you nail the exposure, and the moss really adds the perfect amount of color to the frame. Details are excellent throughout. OOF bit at right doesn't bother me a bit as
this is a bird in a perfectly natural setting. White throat does look a bit cool/blue to me, so you might want to play around with warming the image a touch, though it probably fine as is.
