    I had planned on posting this image this morning, then I saw Dan's post. I guess they work together because this is a juvenile and Dan's post is an adult. Image captured along Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive, Apopka, Florida. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    It is very hard to make a scratching behavior look nice but you have done well here.
    I really like the way the light lights up the crown feathers.
    There is a lot of noise in the BG so I would revisit that.

    Hi Joe, I like the head leaning into the frame with the scratching behaviour. Good feather detail on the Heron, lovely eye, and agree, some NR on the BG wont harm the image.

    Nice behavior and the streched out neck is pretty neat. The dark green background is nice as well. Detail on the bird looks quite nice.

    Cracking shot Joe, the detail and behaviour here are excellent. I love the little details like the light on the upper part of the head and the little feathers being scratched off in the lower left. One of your best IMHO
