    Here is an image from late last year at the local beach. Hand held. Processed in LR and PS. Neat Image for noise reduction, which probably wouldn't have been needed if I lowered my SS a bit.

    The detail on the face is outstanding, and the wind-ruffled neck is a really nice touch. Noise was handled very well. The frame does feel cold, so I'd think about warming it up a bit. The light angle and shaded flanks aren't ideal, but the side lit face is kinda cool.
    I'd like to see even a touch of action, like a raised foot.

    A nice frame, I would go tighter, given the cool feather look, and brighten the catchlight...

    Excellent mid stride capture, John. Agree the windswept feathers are a nice plus. Might move the bird an inch to the left.

    Hi John, I like the low angle here, together with the foam over the leg. The HA works well, and I do like the pastel blue of the water.

    Looks like a windy day at the beach. Warm up the frame a little bit. Like the crossed legs. Great how the water blends into the background.
