Fits the theme very well. Also like the sense of the habitat. Nice to have the background distant.

Very nice entry for the theme.
I love the way he is perched at the very top of the bush and the placement of the bird in the frame.
The color palette is quite neutral and I would increase the overall saturation and a bit more green to make the leaves pop.
I wonder if a 1/3 stop increase in exposure would help?
    A very nice frame Bill.

I think this is a very nice composition. The bush is present but not overpowering, and the bird really stands out against the surroundings. Biggest issue here is the flat light as the image doesn't have any crack to it.
I agree image can be brightened and saturated.

I am really liking this one a lot Bill! I agree with a boost in saturation, but very appealing frame overall.

Nicely captured, bill. Like the composition and the overcast light. Texture in the background works beautifully.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I've slightly increased overall saturation, with a slight additional boost to greens and yellows, and a slight lift in brightness. It does help bring out the Spring feeling in the vegetation.

Hi Bill, lovely frame for the theme. I do like the pose and the surrounding enviroment, and your repost works well.
