You really did this beauty proud, my friend. Just wonderful details and color. Is the perch metal? At any rate, I love this canvas. TFS

Hi David. Thanks so much for the kind words and feedback. Yes, unfortunately the perch is metal (surrounding a covered seating area in a new location I visited the other day).

Bird looks nice (the first time I ever saw this bird was with you!) but the metal railing is unfortunate. A positive of the railing is that it allows for a good view of the feet. Nice raised crest.
Could you have moved to your left to get the tree out of the BG?

Bird is A :) but perch is C- :( . the bird is a bit washed out and lacks contrast you could bump up the contrast and sharpening a bit but not worth too much work given the unfortunate perch, bummer it's a pretty bird

Thanks Arash. It seems sharp enough to me and has contrast on my monitor, but I'll take a look again and see if I can improve it.

Shooting angle is spot on. The background is nice. Detail and sharpness on the bird are there as well. Wish for some more room on the left. But, boy what a neat looking pigeon.

    Hi John,
Thank you for the feedback. The raw file has more room on the left side, so a better crop is possible. Cheers.
