A baldie flying low over the Mississippi.
Nikon D500, 800mm 5.6, 1/1600, f5.6, ISO 6400.
Some processing notes: I start in Capture One with RAW edits, then save and open in PhotoShop, and use adjustment layers in Topaz for DeNoise, run a layer for clarity on the bird masking out the areas outside of the bird, then one for sharpness, and lastly in Viveza on NIK adjusting the bird as Viveza sometimes adds too much blue to birds, but overall I'm liking the plug ins. Hoping to be out shooting some more owls and other birds in a week.
