This is one from my visit to the Isle of Mull, last year. From a boat on a sea loch, the eagle was baited by fish. I liked the BG here, which shows the ruggedness of the coastline.

    Will,
I'm jealous! Been in Australia since 1969 (from London)...but visited Scotland some years ago. Would love to return to get a shot like this. We have Wedge-tailed and White-bellied Sea Eagles here...I've only photographed the WBSE. Great action shot, love the composition, fish in its talons and the water droplets. Eagle is sharp. BG does look rugged as you say. TFS

Hi Will, A nice frame and the trailing water adds interest, but looking at the subject (the wings) I can't help but feel, the image was under exposed. With that kit and ISO the IQ should be better.

I like it Will, water droplets look good and the background looks great. There is noise in the background - I don't find it objectionable but this makes me wonder (like Steve) if the image was underexposed??

Hi William, a wonderful shot with catch in the talons. Love the trail of water drops and the pose. Nice one.

The water trailing off the fish is great. The setting is nice here. Shows the environment the eagle lives in.
