Captured this image in the Okavango Delta in 2019. This is an adult, and I think a juvenile on the left. Stu, I'm sure you'll be able to let us know if I'm correct. If anyone can tell what vintage it is, please inform us.

I would crop up from the bottom, have the perch come in corner..A round of NR omg the background I
think would also improve the image.
    Nice pair and nice poses.

I've not heard of this bird, so bonus points for something uncommon and unexpected. I agree with Dan's noise comment. Stuff behind the subjects is a bit distracting. Biggest issue I have is that tI don't think either birds connects with the viewer - or the other - very well.

Interesting image. Good to see that both birds in focus. Agree with other points, new species for me.

Always good to see a new species.
Nice and sharp with good DOF. The perch is a bit overwhelming and I would crop some of it out.
    Good advice from previous guys.
I really like that fluffy juvie. Do you have images of him alone?

I remember when we saw these guys in the mopane around Duma Tau camp. Our guide was thrilled to show them to us, saying they were highly sought by serious bird-listers. (I had never heard of them, so it was nice to see a new bird.) The light and setting weren't ideal, but it was good you got a shot of adult and juvenile. Good comments above.

Pretty neat looking birds with a interesting name. The others have touched on the technical aspect.

Thanks everyone. Good points and suggestions. Yes Gail I do have the juvie sort of alone, further to the left down the perch. I'll take another look.
