Here I am...all afternoon off with nothing to do but take photographs. As soon as I get to my favorite lake, THERE HE IS! I've been stalking this GBH for over two years now and the moment he sees me he's off like a bandit.

But today - today he chose to stick around and hide behind a single six-foot section of fence. The entire rest of the lake...W I D E O P E N. Where does he decide to fish? BEHIND THE $#&@ FENCE!!

Is it any wonder I have moved on to macros???

The head angle looks great. :) He probably told his buddies how he tricked this woman who now only photographs pretty flowers. :)

LOL, this has happened to me :p. great story. Just imagine that one day you will show up and he will be out in the open, fish in beak posing for you. Then you realize you forgot your memory card at home :p. Yep, thats what happened to me.

    Thanks for making me laugh.

Now if you'd have left your camera at home.....he'd have come out in the open and danced for you. Tooooooo funny.....well, until it happens to you.

Yes, George, his neck was exactly the same size as that fence pole! All I got was a profile.
