    I like this, John. The composition and details are great. The snow adds a lot of mood. My only nit is that the lichen is just a bit too distracting IMO - maybe if the bird had perched slightly farther it would've been better in terms of balance.

    A fine image John. Exposure looks good, nice details, composition and "cool" atmosphere...love that snow! I actually like the lichen...it adds to the composition IMO, as without it the perch would be (IMO) to long on the right side. Cheers.

    Lichen perch and blowing snow are very nice, John. Exposure and sharpness look good, but noise is starting to rear its head in the background. Surprising given the body and the small crop. I might move the bird a bit to the right.

    Hi John, I like the overall winter setting here, falling snow and all. I'm fine with the lichen, but agree with Aditya that if the Chickadee was perched more towards the right, it would have worked better.
