    Perhaps this qualifies as "smallish" in the frame. I kept him relatively small to show the marsh grass habitat. Tough to get a clear shot of these fidgety little birds as they darted among the reeds.

    Light is a bit flat. I think wren is a bit dark.

    I like the blues in the background and not sure about diagonal grass.

    I agree these are difficult subject to photograph based on my experience in the field.

    Hi Bill, I like the overall enviroment in this, and shows up the theme nicely. The exposure looks good to me, and you have captured a good angled pose too.

    Nice to see the wren in it's named setting. The framing is right on. Fits the theme well.
