I captured this image of a Anhinga male just beginning breeding plumage at Circle B Bar Reserve yesterday morning. It was on a post at the small pond at the crossing of four trails described in the Circle B Bar Reserve part of the BAA Middle Florida Photography Site Guide. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VRII AF-S ED, image captured at 400mm
1/1600 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV +1/3 ISO 1600 Auto 1 WB changed with the eyedropper in post processing, camera supported by a monopod
Post processed in Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2020 and Neat Image for noise reduction
Cropped from horizontal to vertical for composition and presentation

P.S. Learn more about Circle B Bar Reserve in the BAA Middle Florida Photography Site Guide that Artie and I co-authored. It is available on the Birds As Art Online Store.

Love the pose and love these beauties during nesting season. This pose fills the vertical frame well. EXP looks spot on. TFS

Nice pose and subject. Blacks look good, but might tweak a bit more out and I would sharpen the eye.
