    Taken in Bandhavgargh tiger reserve, taken mid morning so there was still some mist hanging about.

    Never heard of or seen a brown fish owl. Lovely looking owl. I don't like the centrail placement of the owl. This is a nice documentary frame.

    Steve I have checked my original file and it does have NR on it - I don't know why at ISO 320 not necessary! Here's a repost- it's also got slightly better feather detail
    John I kept owl central to sit within the frame of boughs.

    I like the repost and it is a record shot kind of photo, but I would take it in a second.

    Indeed, but folk still add it in which is madness at ISO's below 1600, but hey... Glad you resolved it. Still feel it looks dark with not much tonal range which it clearly has.
