This adult loon was captured in northern Michigan several years ago, but never posted. They were taking a snack to junior, and thoughtfully included some vegetables along with the fish.

Post: Small crop for comp. Added a bit of canvas below. Cleaned up a few water spots.

    Advice and comments always appreciated.

    Cheers

love the head shot, nice colors and details and the green BG really stands out. in a perfect world the fish's head would be visible but I am asking for too much

Yeah, I asked him to flip the fish so that it's head was facing my way, but he just gave it to his chick. I just don't get any respect!!

Killer image. Would loved to have get something like this when I was in MN a few years ago. I don't even notice the added canvas, so you did well with that. The shooting angle, light, and detail are stunning. Think the close crop works great!

Very nice Image. I like the details, I am not sure about the crop.

    Krishna"

This is full frame horizontally. Added canvas below, with crop from top. What did you have in mind re: crop?

Love all those water drops. The fish is a plus. Nice detail and exposure. I bet you wished that fish was the other way around.

Love it -- great detail and exposure. Prey item and the greenery is awesome. Green BG is great. Water drops add a lot too. I always enjoy your loon images. TFS
