The bird really pops, the exposure on the reds is very good as is the detail, and the HA is good in my book. A very handsome shot. If mine I would take just a sliver off the left and add same to the right.

The red really cracks! Bird is nice and sharp too. Only critique is the exposure on the snow as its mostly blown away. Also, why f/8, especially on snow? f/5.6 would save
you either a stop of shutter or noise, so take your pick!

Blast of Red, nice... I would add just a bit of contrast to the bird.

That red is great and I like the subtle red in the shadow on the snow.
Total high key works for me.

Nice one John...The reds look real good against the white snow. I like the detail, pose and HA. Good POV. Yes, a little more detail in the snow, but very nice as is. Loving the feather detail. Good work.

The image has the appearance of a wonderful Christmas card. Love the snow and the cardinal. The reds are nicely controlled. Thank you for sharing, John.

Great looking bird with a nice pose and good detail. Good exposure on the bird and while most of the snow is blown, I don't mind too much since there is detail in the shadow under the bird. TFS
