A large group of Kookaburras took exception to one particular bird; maybe it was an intruding stranger.
They drove it into the lake then took turns giving it a thrashing. It was very violent.
It was so soaked that it couldn't fly but eventually the poor bird managed to scramble its way into some scrub.

What a cool behavior shot.
I have seen crows behave this way and it is always a very sad sight to witness.
Nice and sharp with good DOF. A bit lower would have been great but the natural history behavior is more important in this image,

Thanks. I took a lot of shots of the action from all vantage points high and ground level.
The higher shots gave the best view that included both birds clearly.
Apparently violence starts in the nest with these birds.
They fight each other and frequently one gets killed.
