What a beautiful clean image, I like the small snowflakes on the doe, the key points are nice and sharp well detailed.

Hi John -- Looks nice and sharp, and details are quite good. The details as compared to the eyes, front ear and the snout are not quite there in the area between the eye and the tip of the snout. I wonder why ? Colours look good to me.
50-50 on the crop though, looks somewhat odd to me.
TFS !

Hi John works for me as presented , technically one of your best ones in terms of PP work . Lovely little snowflakes ... a very neat addition to that head shot . Love that eye !!
I would also go with Steve´s RP ... nice edit , just a little different approach !!!

A fine head shot John, I like the details and the sharpness. Steve has done a good job with his RP. TFS. That eye is amazing.

Hello John,
Well exposed image, nice and sharp with beautiful detail, good pose, great BG, I like the head angle from subject too. As well as presence of snowflakes
PP work here is very good, perhaps the best I have seen from you so far. Then there's Steve's RP which adds more depth overall, more 'punch' to the BG and some warmth to the subject - very fine tweaks, but so effective.
In terms of framing I think the image would be more balanced if you allowed a bit more space at the bottom, IMO the subject's neck appears a tad too short. Not a big issue though, just thought I'd mention it and give you something to ponder over
I took great pleasure viewing this frame and as always, looking forward to more. Hope you have a great week, John!
Kind regards,
