Captured this image a few towns away from me in NJ a couple of days ago. He either got lost or a micro burst occurred landing him quite a distance from his North American home. He was dining in the soft ground under the thatch, thus the mud on his beak. Personally I like it. C&C welcome.

Good find on the East Coast. Nice attentive pose, but I'd like to see him/her up off the ground for photographic purposes. High ISO starting to show as well. Still a perfectly accurate representation of this species.

The bird matches the earth tones very well here. Like Dorian said this is a good representation of this speices.

I like the way there is a "kiss " of light on the face.
A bit of noise but easy fix.
POV was appropriate to get the grasses out of the way.
Good find of a species I have seen but not photographed.
