I like the colours and tones, the antlers look ok but I get the impression the eyes and nose are not in focus, or possibly some subject or camera motion being a contributory factor. At this magnification DOF will be quite limited. Where was the focus point (s) the ears look sharp???

Looks like the same subject posted on the 12/22 John, but I prefer this pose/framing. Same issue as previous and I do have reservations on SS & DoF, why do you keep to f/6.3? Perhaps a monopod might be useful if you keep such low SS John, but I would like to see something like f/8 for something like this. If you remove the blue in the bridge of the nose colour is better IMHO.

H John, a nice shot with good framing but I think the SS is a bit low. Agree with the slight blue cast on the nose bridge.

Hi John yet again a nice solid portrait .
It has some minor technical shortcomings , for me the noise is the most disturbing one . The cyan/blue is not only visible on the nose ..... but i am actually ok with the DOF , but for sure a bit more would not have hurt the image .
I do like the overall color and tonal range with the nicely separated subject from the BG .

    TFS Andreas
