    Default Great Blue Heron on Beach

    I made this image in Fort Desoto, FL.

    I was lying on the ground in with tripod flat on the ground when I had this scene.

    Camera Settings:-
    ===============
    Nikon D850 600 f/4 + 1.4 x TCIII
    1/8000 sec; f/5.6; ISO 1000
    Manual; Matrix metering




    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P 20
    No Cropping, Straightened the image
    Nik 30-30 Filter on Bird at reduced opacity
    Warmed up the image a little
    Tonal Adjustments in Viveza
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    Cloned few background spot.

    Great shot, Krishna! Love the blue strip and the raised foot. Techs look good. Very nice light. I might be tempted to dodge the grey strip at the top to make the image just a bit cleaner, but solid image.

    Awesome low POV and I love the colors across the BG. I don't mind the top strip but wouldn't blame someone for dodging it either. Bird looks good. TFS

    Classic desoto. Nice framing. The low angle is nice as well. The two toned background is another plus.

    The textured sand and details on the raised foot make this shot for me! I also think the blue stripe adds some nice context and depth. Rest of bird looks great. I don't mind the light strip at the top as my eye goes right to the bird. Strong frame.
