From this past Fall migration. This individual had a grand 'ole time making water fly as it took a vigorous bath. It looks like liquid fireworks to usher-in the new decade! A slightly belated Happy New Year to all on BPN!!

Canon 7DII + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC III, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/1600s., f/5.6, ISO 1600, natural light, small crop to help the comp, handheld from prone in the shallow water.

Great low angle and love all that splashing water. Nice colors as well.

    I love this one!
Great low POV and so very dynamic.
Great colors and the water drops fan out beautifully from the bird and do not not cover the face at all. The grasses in the BG also add to the "fanning" effect.

Happy New Year, Daniel. Lovely image, I love the splashing. Your usual spot on techs. Thank you for sharing.

Nice Action and colors. I can see another tight crop for this image.

It works very well as it is.
