    Default Red-tailed hawk

    I made this image in Bosque Del Apache NM couple of days ago.

    I finished my year end trip to Bosque, Conditions were difficult and snow goose were very far away for my Bast offs. So I tried to take different images from Bosque

    Camera Settings:-
    ===============
    Nikon D850 600 f/4 + 1.4 x TCIII
    1/8000 sec; f/5.6; ISO 800
    Manual; Matrix metering




    Post Processing:-
    ===============
    Raw Processing using C1P 20
    No Cropping
    Nik 25-25 Filter on Bird at reduced opacity
    Tonal Adjustments in Viveza
    Neat Image NR
    Sharpening for Presentation
    Dodge selectively
    No Cloning.

    The exposure and light looks nice. I take it the bird is on a deadfall or a pile of trees after some recent construction.

    Yes bird is some deadfall trees parallel to me while I was standing in north loop

    I love the hawk but not the ugly stump on the lower right and all those distracting branches in the bottom :) gotta crop this a lot tighter if it holds
