    These birds are absolutely gorgeous.
I love the way the vulture has pulled in his neck, thus giving the impression that he has a fur collar.
Taken in Costa Rica from hide (built by Bence Mate)

    ISO 2000 SS 1/2500 F 6.3

    Nothing added or cloned.
Processed in LR and PS CC, Neat Image for NR, USM to Jpeg

Great bird, wonderful frontal stare, and nice looking perch and background. Well exposed. Nice work, as usual.

Yeah, you've pretty much nailed this, Gail. No nits from me whatsoever. Stunning colors. The droplets add a very nice dimension to the image.

Stunning vulture in a beautiful setting, Gail. Like the rain, background, and perch also.

Absolutely a beautiful picture of a wonderful bird. Wonderful exposure of a bird that is not easy to get a good exposure of. The clouds helped you there. Are you back in Costa Rica? We met at Cano Negro several years ago.

I am referring to the sharpening filter in PS CC. USM stands for unsharp mask- one of the options in the drop down sharpen menu. I usually use smart sharpen option but did not for this photo. Not sure why!.
