    Same key issue as before Kevin, too much dead space above. The image lacks depth/tone and so there is minimal detail, the file appears 'thin', when did you last calibrate your monitor? At ISO 5000 there should be a lot more within the capture and if exposed well, ie ETTR then there will be minimal noise issues. Is this FF or a large crop, you don't say, but getting a tad closer (avoid heavy cropping) would benefit here and to have more content at the foot. If you are using a desktop monitor then try keeping any lights off or to a minimum, reducing any ambient light affecting the screen.

    Great pose and nice perch and bg. I don't know about "thin", but it does have the look of a large crop. Worth a re-do.

    Nice view o this prairie chicken. Killer background. Yes to some more room below. Image quality looks pretty good for the ISO.
