Here is a pic taken a couple months ago with my D300, 300 2.8 lens, 1/1000 at 5.6, 2/3 EV, ISO 250 (I now know to go higher next time),600mm, 0 flash on Gitzo tripod. A little dark on the wings, right now I am really focusing on camera technique and skills, havent really mastered a lot in photoshop.;) C/C appreciated!
I think it looks good, the pose is fantastic, maybe the rocks in the front are a little distracting, maybe a little crop to a near pano and to elimiante some rocks woul'd helped. Other than than, great timming! Congrats!
Thanks Ramon, how is this? I couldnt crop much higher or I would cut his legs off, trying to remeber to use rule of 1/3 I also shifted to the right and did a little fill light and NR in Lightroom. I would like to get rid of that bottom right corner blur!!! Oh well!
The repost looks much better, I would put the bird a bit higher in the frame so you don't clip the 'virtual legs'. I'm surprised the wings don't look sharp at this shutter speed.
I like it better know, I allready loved it, but know it looks better and without all those rocks, much cleaner, maybe you could use some sharpening mask on it, after the crop and re-size, but those are all post processing details, the shot as is, is very nice! Again, congrats!
