    These beauties always make me smile. I like the gliding pose on this long winged beauty and only wish the bill was not against the far wing. TFS

    I normally do not like flat wingspreads on flying birds (unless flying directly towards me), but the low-to-the-water flight path makes it better here. I agree the bill/wing merge is unfortunate. Sharp, nice light, good call cropping form the top.

    Neat looking pelican. I'm wishing the wings were up here. The bird is nice and sharp.
