Had a chance to photo some yesterday, they are pretty hared to get close to
in area so I was happy with this one.

Got to be happy with this one Dan, nigh on perfect shooting position and wing pose, and the trailing water droplets add a lot to the shot. A bit of noise on the bird - personal choice if that bothers you or not. Excellent work

A fine takeoff shot with great flight angle, water drops, nice habitat. Yes, there is a bit of noise in a few spots that you might try to selectively tame if you were so inclined.

    Dan:

AS mentioned, great pose, action, background. And yes, some noise. Only place it really bothers me is on the browns on the head. I would do some gentle NR work there, trying to hold as much detail as possible.

    Cheers

Nice view of this pintail. Like the pose and the trailing water. The background is quite nice as well.

Beautiful liftoff, Dan. Like the curled tail, great light, and slightly open beak.

    This is goodDan!
    What a great wing position!
Agree about the noise but an easy fix.
Whites are a bit hot on the neck but not a deal breaker.
