    The silhouette itself and the pose of the bird is excellent. Love the colors.
    I wish the BG had less confluent specular highlights and that they were more separated as we see on the RHS of the frame.
    Some areas are quite bright (especially above the head) and I would tone them down or clone in some areas from the RHS to the head and wing area.
    A step to the left and the head would have been nicely placed against separated specular highlights.
    Despite my comments I do like this frame!!

    Superb pose, nice sharp edges (for subject and perch) and beautiful light. I almost feel like I have to squint, just as if I was there. So, I like the brightness. TFS

    Thanks, and HNY back to you Gail. I did try side-stepping for the reasons you give but found that the silhouette lost its punch away from the brightest light. David, the AF also had to squint, it was pretty erratic trying to grab focus on the bird in that strong light.

    I like it. Nice silouette and that color in the water is great.
