Hi John, I really like this one and again, kudos in shooting high ISO. The framing works, albeit perhaps a tad more below and less above, but I feel it's on the cusp. There is more detail to tease out and again you need to explore Curves and Blend modes now, as you images will then have more pop & depth, plus, overall the subject needs more selective sharpening. NR looks good, and you haven't falling into the trap of that totally flat/smooth bBKG that just look wrong. personally I might remove one of the distracting branches and a few of the 'Man babbles' as Tim said elsewhere, but your call. Overall the images looks a bit Red/Magenta tinge, again personally I might look at a cooler look & feel, but you were there. DoF I am OK with at not much more you could squeak out of the techs. Sad to see the leg injury, but it seems not to have effected the Buck.
Well done John.

Hi John, a nice shot of the buck with good use of that high ISO. Steve has given good inputs and I admit I concur. The heads-up pose, the open mouth and antlers give a good feel here with that nice BG.

Hi John -- A fine image here, I simply loved it. Lovely pose and the BKG makes the subject standout.
Nice details, and nice tones as well.
Very nicely done.
