    Default Moluccan Cockatoo (C)

I captured this image in February this year at Gatorland, Orlando, Florida. After photographing at the rookery in the alligator breeding pond exiting leads one past the area where this bird and other parrots are kept. Most time I stop for a few clicks if the area is not crowded. The area is small, so distance from the subject is limited as are choices for backgrounds but with careful choosing good photos are possible. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Nice detail and exposure. The touch of color on the right helps the comp.

Beautifully detailed,my only suggestion would be to explore the iris, is it possible to bring out any detail there?

You've certainly captured some detail in this closeup Joseph. Love the texture/detail on the beak. TFS

Very nice portrait here. Classic tight and graphic framing. The background is great.
