    Hi Guys,

    Yes...even Kingfishers get into puberty..
    And when they do so at the age of 8 weeks like this one they raise their wings to Dad and try to scare him off..
    Dad got mad by the way and chased this little guy off...:eek:

    Great shot Jeroen. Lovely pose and I like the plane of focus with the eye and beak sharp. The perch with moss is lovely but I would be tempted to crop some off the bottom

    Great pose, details, perch and eye contact. I would only add a tad more room at the top.

    I cant imagine a better pose than this. I am surprised how well developed the wing patterns and colors are at this age, sweet shot:)
