A lion walks up in some nice light in Masai Mara (dug up some old files to get going on BPN again)

Good to revisit old file occasionally Sanjeev.

Techs look OK, but personally I might go a little cooler. Overall it's too tight, zooming out a bit would have helped and offered a better cropping option. RP is not great, but you get the idea.

    Hello Sanjeev,

I like this 'in your face' lion and glad to see you too revisit old files from time to time - I have been doing the same lately:)

Steve's 'cooler' version does look more natural, especially when it comes to the environment. Must say I really like the pose with that front paw raised and the intent on the subject's face - what was he chasing?

Techs look good to me. Thinking I would go back on contrast a little - muzzle a tad bright and nose darker than I would expect. Mane looks great and those eyes are the focus of my attention, I think I remember this character from your previous posts

Glad you are back and posting, apologies for late comments but December is a tough month for me. Enjoyed viewing and really appreciate your contribution

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

The light sure is nice. Really like the view of this beast. The dark main is pretty neat. Also like the framing as is.

Super shot, for me the mane is just a little dark in the darkest areas, I agree for landscape format a little tight, but I think a little content are could sort that out, alternatively if this image is cropped maybe consider going back to original and make a portrait?
